Austin’s South by Southwest music conference and festival is the ultimate music fan experience, with hundreds of bands performing over five days in every corner of the city, but it isn’t marketed to fans. For the festival, for the labels, and for the bands, the fans are simply not the focus.

After spending an afternoon at the adMIT weekend a couple of weeks ago somebody asked me, “what do the adMITs look like”? “They look just like we did a year ago”, I replied. And they do. The soon to be class of 2010 walked around campus exuding the same mix of nervous excitement and enthusiasm that we did when we first set foot on the ground outside E51.

The 141 Portfolio

It’s the last 15 of the school year and 141 Charles Street will be wrapping up the last party event in the coming 2 weeks. The portfolio will be undergoing a rebalancing as we bring in a new social management team to take the helm in the fall. Thus, the 141 Portfolio would like to dedicate this final 15 piece to those 141 2nd years that have delivered the highest social return in the 141 parties we have enjoyed during the past fall and Spring terms.
