Stimulating the Boston MBA Community

On March 18th, 460 students from business schools around Boston converged on Estate in the Back Bay for the first business school mixer that anyone can remember. This event represented the culmination of networking efforts across all the schools as well as many hours of promotion and preparation to pull off an event of this size. (1) comment

Sloanies Walk and Jump for Breast Cancer

This past fall, Kyle Maner MBA '09 was diagnosed with breast cancer. In addition to classes, clubs and all the other responsibilities that Sloan students bear, Kyle bravely faced two surgeries and radiation treatment. Kyle was able to avoid chemotherapy because the lump was found very early, and that's partially because she found it herself. (0) comments

The Student Becomes The Teacher

Daya Fields '07 from Estee Lauder Companies (ELC) returned to MIT Sloan on March 16th to co-teach a SIP workshop to students currently participating in MarketLab this semester. It was an amazing opportunity for MarketLab students to learn first-hand about using the research design framework to get the root of a business to consumer organizational challenge. (0) comments

The sold-out, all-day event, "Offshore Wind Technology: Today and Tomorrow," highlighted the innovations, financing, policy dynamics, and history of one of the fastest-growing markets in Europe.
